Information on Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Hoarding

The internet provides us with a lot of information, which unfortunately is not always accurate or helpful. Below are several highly-reputable sites that provide more information on disorders in the anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum, along with material on treatment options:

For general information on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy or to find a treatment provider who specializes in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy for a specific condition in your area, see: The Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies

Both the Anxiety Disorders Association of America (ADAA) and International OCD Foundation (IOCDF) websites have information on specific, empirically-validated treatments for the anxiety and obsessive-compulsive spectrum disorders.  Both websites also feature a "Find a Treatment Provider" link that provides contact information for therapists in your area.

The IOCDF also hosts a specific website for hoarding: https://hoarding.iocdf.org/
